Programs are designed to achieve the goals and objectives which involve stimulating research activities with faculty mentors and students as partners. Research and other activities culminate annually at the Joint Meeting with Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society and the Brookhaven Semester Program. The programs include:-

Seminars & Workshops – NIS members are exposed to a host of seminars and workshops in the areas of biological science, chemistry, geology, physical science, psychology, physics and science education throughout the year. Most of these sessions are offered at the annual joint meeting, but are also held at the college or university where our members are located. Areas of discussion have included:

Student Presentations – At our national scientific conference all levels of students (Freshmen, Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors) are afforded an opportunity to present individual research on a given subject matter before a group of their peers.
